We offer as an option the soldering of two optocouplers x 5 modules on Archiduino Base Boards. Optocoupled inputs give the possibility to “read” any AC or DC input between 1,5 and 36 volts, with the guarantee of electrical isolation up to 2,5 KV. Optocouplers are the best way to read an input from a remote control without compromise the safety of the Archiduino controller.

We offer as an option the soldering of two optocouplers x 5 modules on Archiduino Base Boards. Optocoupled inputs give the possibility to “read” any AC or DC input between 1,5 and 36 volts, with the guarantee of electrical isolation up to 2,5 KV. Optocouplers are the best way to read an input from a remote control without compromise the safety of the Archiduino controller.

Description

The optocouplers are soldered on the bottom face of the Archiduino Base Board. We can mount up to 20 optocoupled inputs in a single base board. You just choose on which module you need the optocouplers and we put them on for you. Please note that usually optocouplers are placed in such a way as to be always two per module; even if we recommend the “couple per module” setup, if you configuration needs some other placement, please be sure to communicate the right placement while you confirm the cart.

Technical specifications

The option include:

  • soldering of current limitation resistors, pullup resistors and two TLP-290 optocouplers on FIVE modules (10 inputs total);
  • soldering of one pluggable terminal block (AP-CON-002) on FIVE modules (terminal blocks are included in service price).
