This ADC SnipCard has been designed to satisfy almost every need about analog signals. Both channels can be configured to read voltage or current (the classic 4-20mA loop). The Base version is configured as buffered mode. With minimal breadboarding it can be used with every version of Arduino / Genuino.

This ADC SnipCard has been designed to satisfy almost every need about analog signals. Both channels can be configured to read voltage or current (the classic 4-20mA loop). The Base version is configured as buffered mode. With minimal breadboarding it can be used with every version of Arduino / Genuino.

Details

The SnipCard has the following possible input configurations (on one or both channels):

  • Analog to digital converter for resistive measurements (i.e. for an NTC or a PT100 / PT1000 temperature probe);
  • Analog to digital converter for voltage measurements (typically 0-10 VDC);

ESD protection

Both channels are  protected with the well known GSOT Schottky ESD suppressor diodes (capable of ESD protection according to IEC 61000-4-2 until ± 30 kV contact discharge and ± 30 kV air discharge).

  • one channel in voltage input (0-10 VDC, 1mA max current)
